What is self-care?

Self-care means to look after yourself in a healthy way. This can be achieved by incorporating basic actions every day to maintain good physical and mental health.

This can be done from the comfort of your own home – you do not need to see a doctor for some minor ailments.

Those with health problems can still self-care. For those with long term conditions, there may be some lifestyle measures to consider including different types of exercise and changes in diet.
